2021 NAIS Online People of Color Conference (November 29-December 3)
We are so excited to officially welcome you to NAIS People of Color Conference and NAIS Student Diversity Leadership Conference week! We have a new virtual platform for PoCC and SDLC this year called Hubilo. Last week, PoCC and SDLC registrants should have received an email from Hubilo granting you access to the platform. If not, please check your spam folders first, and if you still can’t find it, please email us at [email protected].
Acknowledging responsibility and taking principled action to redress wrongs is the call to character and courage in the national movement of our time. Reckoning with Impacts, Rolling with Just Intent is the guiding theme for the 2021 Online PoCC.
PoCC is the flagship of NAIS’s commitment to equity and justice in teaching, learning, and organizational development. The mission of the conference is to provide a safe space for leadership and professional development for people of color, and networking for people of color and allies of all backgrounds in independent schools.
PoCC equips educators at every level, from teachers to trustees, with knowledge and skills to improve the interracial, interethnic, and intercultural climate in their schools, as well as the attending academic, social-emotional, and workplace performance outcomes for students and adults alike.
In an engaging virtual space, the 2021 Online PoCC will offer thought-provoking workshops, inspiring speakers, affinity group spaces, and more.
