2019 NAIS People of Color Conference (PoCC) registration is open!


​We have received several reports that due to the volume of traffic when registration opened, a small number of people have not been able to log on to the system to register for the NAIS People of Color Conference. We are aware of this issue and are working to fix it as soon as possible. If you are experiencing problems registering for the conference, please contact 888-284-5018 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET for assistance. ​

2019 NAIS Student Diversity Leadership Conference (SDLC) registration has reached capacity. Please email NAIS@experient-inc.com with the subject line "SDLC Waitlist" if you would like your students to be entered onto our waitlist. Please include the number of students you are hoping to register. As always, all required student forms will be collected and processed if we are able to register your students for the conference. Schools will be contacted individually if space becomes available.

The NAIS People of Color Conference is the flagship of the National Association of Independent Schools' commitment to equity and justice in teaching and learning. The mission of the conference is to provide a safe space for leadership and professional development and networking for people of color and allies of all backgrounds in independent schools. PoCC equips educators at every level, from teachers to trustees, with knowledge, skills, and experiences to improve and enhance the interracial, interethnic, and intercultural climate in their schools, as well as the attending academic, social-emotional, and workplace performance outcomes for students and adults alike.
